Nasiyka is the country of the North and is guarded by Takumi. Nasiyka has always been nearly untouchable, until Keigo the traitor. Keigo was Chûi of Shichi Shidan when Taii Mori was killed. Instead of Keigo becoming Taii, Gunsou Daiki was promoted and Keigo remained Chûi.
Keigo was furious, he chose to leave the Knights. His falcon, Phantom, refused to betray his kind so Keigo left alone for the Sakzi. He betrayed the ancient secrets of the Knights and the invasion began.
Keigo now leads the Hokuten Raiders on a tawny falcon named Compass. His first goal in the invasion: kill the falcon who betrayed him.
Jewel was a kite killed in one of Keigo's first attacks. Her rider, Takeo, survived without lasting injuries. After pleading with the Council, Takeo and Phantom were allowed to return to battle together. They intend to kill Keigo.
The Sakzi have plagued Nasiyka with ground attacks and Seikûken of their own, captured as younglings and tamed as beasts. The Knights are falling fast, they've never had to battle their own kind before. Can rising Abyssal Knights defeat the Hokuten Raiders, or will the true Seikûken die out?
